- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A half hunter pocket watch by W.E Johnson. Gold plated case. Unsigned keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White dial. 50mm. Together with a gold plated pocket watch by Tempo, a base metal pocket watch by Ingersoll and three chains. All recommended for spare or repair purposes only.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There are some cracks visible to the enamel near the 5 o'clock hour marker. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. The other watches in this lot do appear to be currently functioning. This lot does not come with box or papers. All items in this lot are offered for spare and repair purposes only. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
