BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A group of seven 19th century pottery drainers. To include an 'Eastern Street Scene' pattern by Riley, 12 x 9, (31cm x 23cm) high, together with a 'Chinese Marine' Opaque China, with painted highlights on six button feet, 10.75 x 8, (27cm x 20cm), a green printed with an Italianate river scene, a cobalt printed 'Lotus' pattern example, another Willow pattern, a fourth 'Colandine' pattern of rounded square form (s/d), and an oval creamware example circa 1800, (7)
Displaying signs of slight wear consistent with age, including fine crazing, very minor flaking and light staining. All items are in varied conditions and may be at fault. Viewing in person is highly recommended and is available at our Birmingham saleroom on the specified dates. Please note: this lot contains glass, porcelain or fragile material.
