A good German oak-cased three-train chiming bracket clockWinterhalder & Hoffmeier, circa 1910The 5.5-inch arched dial having a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and half hour divisions, retailer’s cartouche below XII “KIRK & Co LD WHITEFRIARGATE HULL”, framing a matted centre, the arch with silvered subsidiary Slow/Fast and Chime/Silent dials, all within pierced gilt foliage, the three-train movement stamped W & H Sch., quarter-chiming on four coiled gongs and striking on a fifth via a pin-barrel, the architectural case with caddy top and carved ‘Green Man’ over lion masks, female term pilasters or caryatids, and an inverted breakfront base, 16.75”, (42.5cm) high. - Shipping Info
