A gold pendant and brooch. The first, a mid 19th century pendant, of foliate design, with an oval-shape garnet and colourless sapphire, the second an early 19th century brooch with a lava-cabochon within a bead border. Brooch has a partly distinct registry design mark for April 1842. Length 4.5 to 6.9cms. Weight 7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. pendant has scratches from jewellers tool to the reverse. fittings are in good working order. brooch is made up of 19th century components. solder can be seen to front and reverse Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for colored gemstones.
