A George V silver mounted table cigarette box of plain form having reeded decoration and initialled cartouche to the hinged cover, opening to reveal a lined interior, hallmarked Charles Henry Dumenil, London 1919, length measures 6 2/8 inches (16 cm). Together with four silver mounted cut glass vanity jars (two lacking covers).
Cigarette box in poor condition displaying heavy tarnishing to the exterior, hinge in good working order, hallmarks clear and legible but part marks to exterior worn and distorted. Two vanity jars missing covers, and one missing mounted collar. All covers and mounts present are having tarnished and hallmarks are rubbed and worn.
