BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A George IV six-divide silver toast rack, the kidney wirework frame on oblong base and raised on four bun feet. Hallmarked Waterhouse, Hodson & Co, Sheffield 1821. Length measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 8 ozt (252 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some heavier areas of surface tarnishing and discolouration. Somewhat misshapen and now wobbles. Dents to feet, one compressed and split. Hallmarks rubbed. - Shipping Info
