A George III silver vinaigrette, the small plain oblong form with initial engraving opening to a pierced and florally embossed grille. Hallmarked Birmingham 1809 with the maker's mark IT. Length measuring 2.5 cm, weight 6.8 grams.
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A couple of heavier scratches. The lid a little compressed. Both hinges broken and would require attention. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
