A George III silver porringer, the typical form with oblique fluted body rising to the vacant cartouche, embossed girdle with foliate punch-work surround, personal engraving to the underside and twin reeded handle. Hallmarked James Stamp & John Baker, London 1767. Height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm), weight 2.7 ozt (86 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some rubbing with loss of definition. Minor dints and bumps. The hallmarks are clear and legible. - Shipping Info
