A gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct rose gold case, hallmarked Edinburgh 1939. Numbered 2166. Unsigned manual wind movement. Two-tone silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 22mm.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement is worn with noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Evidence of repair to the case. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
