A gentleman's wrist watch. 18ct yellow gold case, import hallmarked Glasgow 1923. Numbered 308787. Unsigned manual wind movement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 38mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial shows visible cracks. Dial also has a chip outside the minute track and shows marks. Hands show marks and tarnishing. Second hand appears to be a replacement as it is a different colour/shape than the other hands. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches, marks and some wear to the plating. Stem around the crown shows marks, scratches and dints. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers.
