A gentleman's mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 0.95ct, I-J colour, P2 clarity. Ring size N1/2. Weight 4.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Band slightly out of shape. Diamond bright and lively with a fracture to the girdle edge which runs into the pavilion of the stone. The diamond has a light yellow tint. Stamped 18ct.
