A gentleman's mid 19th century 18ct gold bloodstone signet ring. The scalloped edge bloodstone, to the engraved shoulders and plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1856. Ring size N 1/2. Weight 7.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resize. Engraving to the gallery and shoulders has been significantly worn in many areas. Bloodstone in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
