A gentleman's late 19th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, inset to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 1.35cts, L-tinted colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1876. Weight 8.8gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Glue residue to the inside of the back of the mount. Hairline split inside the band, near the top. The diamond is drawing a yellow hue, with small central inclusions, some visible without magnification. Ring size R.
