A gentleman's early 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within an elongated claw setting, to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, P2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1911. Weight 3.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and Band slightly out of shape. Would recommend attention to the setting as some claws deficient and worn. Individual setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamond appears with central scattered inclusions, some visible without magnification. Ring size O. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
