A gentleman's early 20th century 18ct diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the extended claws and grooved shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.30ct, H-I colour, P1-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1913. Weight 5.9gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches commensurate with the general age and wear. Localised scratch and discolouration to the outer shank. Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient and worn. Individual setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds appears with central inclusions, some visible without magnification. Ring size R 1/2. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
