A gem-set ring. The mabe pearl, within a calibre-cut ruby surround, to the diamond point shoulders and grooved band. French assay marks. Weight 2.6gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. One ruby and one diamond point deficient. Evidence of resizing. Diamond chipped. Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium to slightly dark pinkish-red, vary slightly in hue, fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasion. Mabe pearl creamy colour with a yellow hue. Fair skin with surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Ring size O1/2. French assay mark to outer band.
