A garnet dress ring. The circular-shape garnet symbol, within a similarly-cut garnet surround, to the openwork shoulders and plain band. Weight 6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Garnet medium purple, well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Garnets fairly well matched one possible replacement, has an reddish orange tinge Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Ring size N 1/2.
