- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A garnet and turquoise pendant. Of openwork design, the circular garnet and turquoise cabochon panels, suspending five oval garnet cabochon drops. Length 6.9cms. Weight 18gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Soft solder repair and alteration can be seen to the reverse. Garnets dark slightly purplish-red, with strong saturation, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Turquoise vary in colour with a medium-dark green to greenish blue, moderate to light saturation, some show dark inclusions to the surface. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
