BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within an illusion-setting, to the single-cut diamond openwork gallery and diamond accent shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. Principal diamond estimated weight weight 1.10cts, J-K colour, P1 clarity. Ring size M 1/2. Weight 4.9gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly bright. Diamond has no obvious inclusions under magnification, clarity mainly due to significant chips to the girdle. No obvious inclusions can be seen using 10x magnification Diamond is slightly loose in mount. Claws have worn, re-tipping recommended. Single-cut diamonds are iindividually to small to assess colour and clarity grades. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
