A diamond pendant. The foil back rose-cut diamond and similarly-set rose-cut diamond halo, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond surmount with trefoil sides., may be worn as a brooch. Estimated dimensions of principal diamond 8.2 by 8.5mms. Length 4.7cms. Total weight 9gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Piece has been modified from other items. Diamonds fairly well matched. Principal diamonds appear noticeably more tinted than surrounding diamonds. Individual cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment and assessment of weight. Principal diamond with small chips and nicks to the edge. Brooch pin with foreign marks, beleived French.
