BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond pendant. Of hexagonal outline, the old-cut diamond collet, within a vari-cut diamond floral surround, suspending a pear-shape diamond drop, to the integral fancy-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. Length of pendant 3.4cms. Length of chain 38cms. Weight 4.4gms.
.25 .15 .20 .42 .20Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The central openwork panel is possibly early 20th century, with later added surmount, drop and chain. Replacement diamonds. Significant yellowing to the surmount and drop. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
