BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond cluster ring. The old-cut diamond collet, to the similarly-cut diamond collet sides, within a pierced rose-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.55ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. French assay marks. Ring size N. Weight 4.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band and gallery has some wear to the white metal plating. Principal diamond with few inclusions visible under 10x magnification, a small surface chip near the girdle. Principal diamond with no eye visible inclusions. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting.
