BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond and sapphire ring. Designed as a series of oval-shape pinkish-purple sapphire, orange sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond floral clusters, each within a brilliant-cut diamond scrolling surround. Estimated total diamond weight 2.20cts. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 22.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Principals diamonds assessed as tinted brown, P1- P2 clarity. Diamonds untested for natural colour origin. Light and dark inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Plating on band has worn. Pinkish- purple sapphire, fairly saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Orange Sapphires, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stamped 750.
