BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond and sapphire hinged bangle. Designed as a series of vari-colour sapphire floral clusters, with brilliant-cut diamond scrolling highlights, to the brilliant-cut diamond line sides and openwork half-bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 8-9cts. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 95.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Principal diamonds estimated colour I-J, SI clarity. Side line diamonds are tinted brown. Untested for natural colour origin. Yellow sapphire medium yellow, well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Blue sapphires, range from light to medium blue, with moderate clarity greenish yellow sapphire, fairly well saturated with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Maximum Width of bangle 5.5cmsPlease see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
