BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond and gem-set jardiniÞre brooch. Designed as a series of brilliant-cut diamond, ruby, sapphire emerald and citrine floral clusters, to the brilliant-cut diamond basket. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. French assay marks. Weight 7.6gms
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. ruby are a pinkish red fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions. Sapphires have a blue hue, with fairly good clairty. Emerald is fairly bright green, with typical inlcusions, one has dark inlcusios that can be seen with naked eye. Stamped 18k.
