A diamond and enamel bird brooch. The bird with rose-cut diamond body, red gem eye and enamel detail feathers. Length 5.3cms. Weight 13gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. backing panel of bird appears to have possibly been added. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Light and dark inclusions to the diamonds visible with the unaided eye, several diamonds are chipped. Some areas of enamel are abraded. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
