A cultured pearl two-row necklace with 18ct gold diamond clasp. Designed as two rows of forty-eight and forty-four grey cultured pearls, measuring 8.3 to 7.9mms, to the 18ct gold brilliant-cut diamond star clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Hallmarks for London, 1971. Length 42cms. Weight 80.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cultured pearls untested for natural origin. The cultured pearls have a pale greay body colour, displaying some pinks and greens. Blisters and blemishes visible to many. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
