A cultured pearl three-row necklace. Comprising three rows of graduated cultured pearls, with seed pearl intervals, to the oval-shape ruby and vari-cut diamond cluster clasp. Rubies accompanied by report number 5776-3367, dated 27th October 2015, from the GCS, stating origin Burma Myanmar, no indication of heat treatment. Estimated total brilliant-cut diamond weight 0.55ct. Length 34cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Some scattered inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some visible with the unaided eye. Stones in fair condition, chip to central ruby, abrasion visible to the facet edges of the rubies. The cultured pearls have a cream to light yellow body colour, significant blisters and blemishes visible to many, nacre is damaged to some.
