BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A cultured pearl, diamond and paste necklace. The rectangular-shape blue paste, with brilliant-cut diamond cap and surmount, suspended from a single-strand of cultured pearls. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length of pendant 3.3cms. Length of necklace 50cms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Bead disc spacers have moderate wear. Cultured pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, to include pits. Minor nacre damage to some. Fair lustre. The paste has light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Stamped 750 to clasp tongue only. Total weight 39.7gms.
