BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A cultured pearl, boulder opal and diamond necklace. Comprising a row of forty-nine grey cultured pearls, measuring 8.9 to 8.3mms, to the boulder opal and pave-set diamond textured clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 47cms. Weight of detachable pendant clasp 14.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Personal engraving to rverse of pendant/clasp 'Seatrout, 04.02.2006'. Length of clasp 3.1cms. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Boulder opal with veins of opal and deep brown matrix. Opal with green and blue play of colour. Cultured pearls untested for natural colour origin. Cultured pearls are a well matched deep grey hue with slight rose and green overtones, good lustre, typical surface blemishes. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Stamped 750.
