BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A cultured pearl and diamond necklace. The graduated cultured pearl fringe, suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond chevron and similarly-cut diamond and cultured pearl cluster, to the belcher-link chain. Total diamond weight 0.70ct, stamped to clasp. Length of chain 45cms. Length of drop 7.5cms. Weight 24.9gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Principal cultured pearl 9.95mm by 10.2mm. Pearls are creamy white with rose and olive overtones. Typical surface blemishes can be seen, fairly good lustre. Pearls are fairly well graduated.
