BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A continental Indian style beaker, the slightly tapering form ornately pierced with stylised floral borders and scrolling foliage surrounding two landscape panels and a further panel containing a shield cartouche with personal engraving, having a glass lining marked 'Made in Germany'. Appears unmarked. Maximum height measures 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm).
The beaker appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear and tarnishing. There are also many surface marks and scratches, however the decoration is generally still good. Slight knock to base rim. The glass insert is likely a replacement as it does not sit flush to the bottom so that the removable rim does not fit properly. - Shipping Info
