BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A Chinese export goblet of typical form, having an embossed dragon coiled around the main body and a presentation engraving to one side. Partly indistinct struck mark to the foot rim with 90 visible, alongside a further character mark. Height measures 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), weight 8 ozt (249.3 grams). 'Hong Kong Dockyard Shooting Section Officers Challenge Cup Won by H.R.G. Elson 1917-18.'
The goblet appears in good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. Heavier tarnishing to interior. - Shipping Info
