A cased pair of 1930's silver Coronation spoons for George VI and Elizabeth, each with tear drop shape bowl and crown finial dated 1937 and with red and blue enamel. Hallmarked Robert Edgar Stone, London 1936. Length measures 6 inches (15.2 cm), gross weight 1.83 ozt (57 grams).
Both spoons display some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. Some heavier nicks and pitted marks. Heavier wear around tips of bowls but they have generally faired quite well. The hallmarks are clear and legible. General wear to case.
