BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A Canadian sterling silver salver of circular form, having a scrolled rim and presentation engraving to the plain centre. Marked sterling with pictorial maker's mark for Henry Birks & Sons. Diameter measures 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 33.64 ozt (1046.3 grams). 'Presented to Colonel J. D. Cambridge C D by the Royal Canadian Military Institute in appreciation of his distinguished service as President 1971-1973.'
The salver displays some general wear and tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. A large number of surface scratches, nicks and other marks are visible. The maker's marks are clear and legible. - Shipping Info
