BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
A base metal open face pocket by Kays. Base metal case. Numbered 2656000. Signed keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 50mm. Together with a base metal pocket watch by Smiths.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial displays cracks. Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. Hands of subsidiary seconds dial is missing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows significant scratching, obvious marking, some dents may be present and any plating has lifted. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. The other watch in this lot appears to be functioning. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
