A 9ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape ruby cluster, within a single-cut diamond lozenge-shape surround, to the tapered band. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium light pinkish red, fairly weak saturation of colour, with poor clarity and typical inclusions easily visible with the unaided eye. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
