A 9ct gold amethyst and diamond dress ring. The marquise-shape amethyst, to the single-cut diamond trefoil shoulders and plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Amethyst medium purple, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
