A 1970s 18ct gold and hardstone novelty panel. The oval-shape onyx base, with 18ct gold rope-twist surround, supporting a mounted green hardstone mouse approaching the baited mousetrap. Maker's mark GR. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1978. Length 5.5cms. Weight 32.1gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Reverse of mount with four small tubular mounts and two, possibly later, jump ring mounts. Length of mount 2cms. Length of mousetrap 2.5cms. Mouse is a mottled light green hardstone with flecks of light brown. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
