BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A 1930's silver caster of plain baluster form to a footed base with moulded girdle, the removable cover pierced with stylised foliate motifs. Hallmarked F C Richards, Birmingham 1939. Maximum height measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 6.54 ozt (203.4 grams).
The caster displays some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A couple of knocks to the foot rim and also to the girdle on one side. The hallmarks are clear and legible with some slight rubbing around edges. Clear part hallmarks to lid. - Shipping Info
