BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A 1920's silver mounted dressing table set comprising a hand mirror, a pair of hairbrushes and a pair of clothes brushes, each having a stylised flower and ribbon border enclosing engine-turned sunburst decoration. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1924. Height of mirror measures 10 1/2 inches (26.7 cm).
All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Silver mounts would benefit from a clean and polish. General dints and bumps and some larger dents. Some of the mounts are lifting a little. Brushes are in a poor and used state. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible and some of the maker's marks are partly worn. - Shipping Info
