A 1920's Scottish import silver-gilt and enamel minaudiere, the hinged cylindrical body with blue guilloche enamel embellished with stars and marcasite borders opening to a compartmentalised interior with mirror and ivory plate and engine-turned decoration. Hallmarked Glasgow import 1924, also marked S.L.T.D. Length measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm).
In good overall condition. The lot does display light general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Areas of gilding worm, particularly to the outer case. Hinges and clasps all in good working order. Various vacant suspension rings to the outer case. Hallmarks clear and legible.
