A 1920's cased silver condiment set comprising a pair of pepper pots and a pair of open salts and a mustard pot with blue glass liners, each of plain bulbous form to a footed base, also with two later condiment spoons. Hallmarked Ernest Druiff & Co., Birmingham 1924/25, spoons hallmarked Sheffield 1962. Gross silver weight 7.27 ozt (226 grams).
All the pieces display some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A couple of notable dints to corners of one of the salts forming a small hole to one of the edges. Further small dints and bumps to other pieces. Heavier staining and tarnishing to interiors, especially the salts. Remnants of pepper. Hinged lid appears in working order. Most of the hallmarks are very worn and rubbed.
