- Lot Description
Gilt bronze, size 5. Broad, 4.8mm round face band with the Roman thickened base and ridged shoulders. Lenticular bezel inscribed with remnants of a signet. Serving as a fashion ring with the owner's "monogram" on the bezel as a status symbol, and to impress documents as necessary. Surface textured from burial but very well preserved with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
