- Lot Description
Oval bezel, about 3/4" height with stipple line borders. The field with a stipple outlined cross with nubs at the center and beam terminals. All the decoration uniform and crisp. The bottom as separate overlapping prongs. The cross as a decorative symbol was widely used by Vikings before their conversion to Christianity. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored for contemporary wear. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with certification of authenticity.
