- Lot Description
Gilt bronze, over 1 ½" total height. The cross beam above center. The beams flared toward the ends which are slightly cusped, a remnant of the Jerusalem cross. The front with a smaller cross of similar form with roman numerals/ciphers at the beam terminals. Reverse with remnants of inscriptions. Lightly textured from burial but quite crisp detail. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored, on an 18" gilt Sterling silver neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
