Description:
Two English Ladderback Rush Seat Armchairs, an English beech and yew wood rush seat ladderback armchair, 19th Century; together with a stained oak rush seat ladderback armchair (42 in. x 23 in. x 18 1/2 in.)Measurements: Height: of 19th C chair 43 in. x Width: 24 1/2 in. x Depth: of seat 16 in.
Condition:
The 19th century chair in good restored condition, replaced rush seat, old marks and scratches, age crack to top rail, age crack to underside of left armrest, wear and losses to feet, wood worm to legs, rubbing to armrests, age crack to back of front stretcher, wear to rush seat. The other chair in good condition, with drop in rush seat, old marks and scratches, scuffs to feet and legs, rubbing to front stretcher, chips to front of armrests.
