Rushworth, HISTORICAL COLLECTIONS 1659-1701 8 Vols., Rushworth, John, HISTORICAL COLLECTIONS BEGINNING IN THE SIXTEENTH YEAR OF KING JAMES...AND ENDING IN THE FIFTH YEAR OF KING CHARLES, ANNO 1629 (London, for George Thomason, 1659) The Trial of the Earl of Strafford (1701) published, 1659-1701, folios, 8 vols., engraved portraits in vols. 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8, woodcut initials, vol. 1 with double page map, vol. 3 with plate, vol. 6 with folding plate, Fairfax of Cameron bookplate, pages with gilt edges.Measurements: Height: of first volume 12 3/4 in. x Width: 8 1/2 in. x Depth: 2 1/2 in.
Condition:
Worn condition, occasional foxing throughout, uniform contemporary calf, vol. 1 lower cover detached, other spines worn, see photos.
