Rembrandt Van Rijn (Netherlands, 1606-1669), Self-Portrait with Saskia, Etching, on laid paper, signed and dated 1636 in plate upper left, depicting the artist with his wife Saskia, pencil inscription on mount below print 'Rembrandt et sa femme, B 19 Cl 19 (Bl 203) Mit dem schattinfluk ….", verso with pencil 'Rembrandt et sa femme, claton No. 19', mounted and unframed.Measurements: Height: of paper 5 in. x Width: 4 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, minor toning and foxing, possibly trimmed, wear to edges, hinge mounted at upper and lower left corners, mount paper with mat burn.
