Description:
Portrait of a Young Man, George Christopher, 1832, Oil on Board, unsigned, inscription on verso reading 'George Christopher 1832,' board with original label, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 14 3/4 in. x 12 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 9 3/4 in. x Width: 7 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, craquelure, area of inpainting above figure and in craquelure along right side, scratch with inpainting above figure's head, at lower right edge and in elbow, frame worn with cracks and some losses.
